High Five

Danjaruz Demeanor:

Daily Danjaruz Deliberation:
"These are a few of my favorite things..."

Danjaruz Disclosures, Declarations, and Diatribes:

In the spirit of High Fidelity, a really great movie that a friend of mine bought for me, I have compiled a few Top 5 Lists of my own.

High Fidelity stars John Cusack as a disgruntled, jaded record store owner who is trying to understand what has gone wrong in his relationships with women. This time of reflection is brought on by his current live-in girlfriend moving out. He reviews his top 5 worst break ups of all time. The movie co-stars Jack Black (one of the funniest physical comedians of our time), who is a die hard rocker guy, determined to make music-buying as hard as possible for anyone who actually comes intot he store. Along with Dick, played wonderfully by Todd Louiso, these guys spend their days impressing their musical elitism upon the music peons that come in the store.

Louis: Now why would you sell it to me and not to him
Barry: Because you're not a geek, Lewis
Louis: You guys are snobs
Barry: No we're not
Louis: No, seriously, you're totally elitists. You feel like the unappreciated scholars soyou shit on the people who know less than you
All 3: Nawww
Louis: Which is everybody...
All 3: Yesss

Top Five Most Fucked Up Situations/Interactions With The Opposite Sex(he used "Break Ups" in the Movie, but I've only had one real "break-up")
1. All of the times I was forced to have sex, coerced into sex, or laid there while a man performed some sexual act on me.
2. This dude took a shit in my bowl and clogged it up, but didnt tell me and I didnt find out until he left. Not a word, nothing. Covert shitting all up in my crib.
3. Finding out this dude I'd been seeing was married. He had a seperate apartment that he maintained to do his cheating, so me having the home number, going to his home, etc. didn't tip me off. I didn't find out until his wife called me on my cell phone calling me all kinds of bitch, asking where her husband was (as in what city, state). I was like wait a minute u dumb fuck, I didnt know ya man was married, so don't call me a bitch. You are the dumb fuck for not knowing your husband maintains a completely seperate home for his affairs. Didn't she wonder where he went those times? What wife lets her man travel out of state without knowing where he is going and what he is doing?
4. Any phone call received from the "wife" "wifey" "girlfriend" or "babymama" that I never knew existed.
5. Finding out that one of the most popular brothas on the football team, and in school, was a two-minute brotha.
